As you may know, Apple stores across the country have begun to offer iPhone screen repairs for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, but there have been many complaints as to what is required from you and your iPhone to qualify for the repair.
Currently in order to get any screen repair or replacement from the Apple store, your iPhone Bezel (Outside edge of your iPhone) has to been undamaged. This means if you have a iPhone with any damage that has occurred to the side or a corner from dropping the iPhone, the Apple Store will not repair this.
The reason for this policy is unknown, but what we do know is if your phone has this damage to the sides, you will be asked to pay the price for a full replacement. Apple will then replace the iPhone, apposed to repairing the iPhone, for the cost of around $300-$400 (depending on the iPhone).
Just to clear things up. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are 100% repairable, even if there is a little damage to the sides of your device. You can attempt this repair at home or bring it into a repair store like Cell Clinic Vancouver. If the bezel is really dented in, there are a number of repair tools on the market that will correct this damage to your iPhone.
